As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its technical capabilities, the company is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join its design team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to the structural design of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, supporting senior engineers throughout all stages of the design process.

The position offers opportunities for professional development and close collaboration with the company’s internal technical team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the structural design and analysis of civil engineering and infrastructure projects;
• Developing finite element models (FEM) and preparing structural calculation reports;
• Supporting the preparation of technical reports and project documentation;
• Coordinating with the internal team and liaising with company management to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met;
• Providing technical support during construction and on-site activities;
• Keeping up to date with technical standards, regulations, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering;
• Initial professional experience, including internships, in structural design within engineering consultancies or construction companies is considered an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of Italian and European technical standards (NTC, Eurocodes);
• Familiarity with structural analysis and modelling software (e.g., SAP2000, MIDAS, STAAD, OpenBridge, or equivalent);
• Strong teamwork skills, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to develop professionally;
• Knowledge of English is considered an advantage.
