Health facilities
New Comunity Hospital of Rimini
The new Rimini Community Hospital is a key part of the new local healthcare model promoted by the PNRR – Mission 6. Located within the future city healthcare hub and directly connected to the Community House, the project was created with the goal of building an integrated system that can provide continuous care and services closer to people.
The architecture reflects this vision through a simple building, where every design choice meets specific functional needs. The layout of the spaces is designed to make pathways intuitive, separate the flows of patients, visitors, and healthcare staff, and ensure efficient organization of care activities. On the first floor, there are areas for inpatient care, clinics, rehabilitation, and support spaces, all designed to offer welcoming, functional environments focused on the well-being of both patients and staff.
The project is the result of a multidisciplinary design that integrated architecture, structures, and systems from the early stages of development. The focus on the quality of the spaces goes hand in hand with an approach oriented towards sustainability, through the adoption of high-efficiency technological solutions, high-performing systems, and a rooftop photovoltaic system, with the goal of creating a durable, efficient structure ready to support the evolution of local healthcare.
