The project consists of two different types of work: a complete renovation of the Hotel (rooms, bathrooms, corridors, staircases, hall, lounge bar, conference rooms and external facades) to optimise the use of space and upgrade the building’s systems and installations, and a new construction of car garages to be used by the hotel in via Denza, in Rome. Renovation works included the demolition and rebuilding of partition walls and finishing works for a more functional and optimal distribution of space; upgrading of electrical systems and other special installations, mechanical installations, water and sanitary systems, fire system; renovation of the staircase and external facades, requiring the demolition and reconstruction of the hotel’s entrance stairs. The project also included paving of the external area in front of the hotel and construction of the rainwater drainage system. The new garage area was designed on a two level structure with a grade beam foundation and a supporting structure made of beams and piles, concrete and masonry flooring, terrace roof, internal masonry in REI 180 fire resistant blocks and two-coat plastering for internal and external finishing work.
