The project entailed works for the modernisation and special maintenance needs of the baseball grounds in Nettuno to host the IBAF 2009 World Cup. The project required improvements to all finishing works as well as to the stadium’s systems and installations in order to comply with existing standards of law. Works were carried out on the entire stadium, and included a new baseball field, upgrades to construction components (structures, flooring and finishing works) and to technological and installation systems (especially the field’s lighting system, requiring a new LED display), and upgrading of the fire system. The works allowed the stadium to be selected as the venue for the IBAF 2009 World Cup final.
